Yeah we're definitely getting to the point where we're either re-hashing or re-inventing so many mechanics that it's so different from TS that we won't be able to talk about it anymore without basically not knowing what we're talking about. I'm getting to the point where I'm going to say "Thanks for all the great ideas" close the forum down and start working on a draft of the feature list for the first version, or "design document" if you please. We'll see.

I'm just going to go ahead and change my title to "We'll see" because that's my most used phrase recently.

That's fine with me, but we should still at least have a thread where we can circlejerk in the meantime.

i propose a new approach to the question "How does melee get the close range advantage?"

It doesn't. if you want to win with melee, you best be damn good at bouncing around and not getting shot. We're going to have melee pricks telling gunners to put the guns away and get some skill no matter what we do, they might as well have a point.
