Alright I'm about to push some updates to Steam that are a candidate for the final Steam release. Updated Linux binaries, updated maps with fixes for the white textures, and a few more bug fixes.
Sadly, I've been struggling for a while with a client crash that involves the muzzle flare, but the actual stack trace is inside Source engine which I don't have access to, so I can't see specifically why this crash is occurring. Not wanting to subject a new horde of players to this crash I've disabled muzzle flares for now. I don't think I'll be able to fix this crash unless we get our hands on engine sources, so muzzle flashes will remain off for now.
We'll have a playtest some time this week and if everything is good then I'll press the go live button on Friday. I don't want to do it during the week because weekdays are busy for me and I want to be able to devote my full attention to it.
