The sounds you see are TRP and I just plugged up some brawl hit/miss sounds. I posted a list that Vincetti made up on the OP so we can coordinate sounds that need doing. Since it's your post Dan you can edit it too.

As far as music goes, yeah I'd love to see some other stuff, honestly I'm getting sick of the jazz. It's a good beat and it's funny but isn't it from some well know sound library, I think an Apple Logic library or something? I wouldn't mind seeing other jazz, upbeat stuff though, but stay away from blues. But more than that I think the music this game really needs is something that would belong on the Face/Off soundtrack, or the Matrix soundtrack. For the TS videos we used that song from The Jackal and a song from DMC, and those both fit really well, and I'd like to see something like that.The jazz worked well when I was going for the 80's thing, but I've come to my senses now.

I'm actually going to re-record the "boom" so that it's mono and it has less noise.

If you'd like to install them, re-name 'slowenter' to 'meter_activate' and 'slowexit' to 'meter_end', then place them into your steamapps/sourcemods/dab/sound/UI folder, replacing the sounds currently in there (they're not original sounds).

Edit: Don't do this, I don't know why they're not working, they were working perfectly fine last release...

Did you make sure to convert them to the correct rates? Should be 11025 16-bit.

Hi, i'm nightmare, and i create sound effects.

I'm a person that simply hates every sound in games that doesn't have good sound effects. cough/counter strike/cough

I have a collection of sound libraries that takes up to 196gb of my external harddrive.

Here is some WIP videos of SFX i made for DA:B

Niceee, I like where this is going, please do add more! Also did you add some saturation n shet to the video? I'm wondering if we should use some color filters for dab, like in options somewhere. Have predefined filters such as The Matrix (green tints), or what you have in the video would be Sunny..perhaps an idea for the future. Anyway good sounds.

hey, i added a filter to make the video look much better. i agree that we should have an option for filters, would be nice to see an option to make your own filters so people can make filters that they like. im working on reload sounds, but the m3 doesnt play any sounds other than shooting, and grenade bouncing sound doesn't play too

Probably needs setup in the weapon script to play thems, look in dab/scripts, I think you need to change either game_sounds_weapons.txt or weapon_xxx.txt.

Delete every entry relating to Mossberg.whatever, except for Mossberg.single, then add something like this:

Sounds good man. Especially fond of the punching sounds. Only thing I would criticize is the vocalized sound the guy makes when he falls to his death, doesn't seem to quite capture the right feeling.

We are using most of nightmare's sounds, they are pretty good, some need enhanced but anyway, I need someone to make us some normal hit souns and hit style notifications. If you play the latest release you'll come to hear our bells when you get some sweet style accumulation. So if anyone wants to replace the bells with something more fitting go ahead.
