What about adding Capture The Flag - game mode, with 2 teams?
Would the code be available from TF2?

Could be nice addition to current deathmatch.

Well, Capture the briefcase is our rendition of capture the flag. I think it is very successful, and I see no need to add in capture the flag. It's a great game mode but it's been done and done. I like to think we have a better alternative and don't need to incorporate CTF.

Yep, you can find a variant of CTF in almost every multiplayer shooter. I think that CTF is everywhere, because players love it.

Briefcase/Kill the leader/Race are all good, but I think teambased CTF could really add more depth to the gameplay.

Most successfull gamemode ever + Hollywood style action = Winner

Isn't briefcase already teambased? It is CTF for Boogaloo

You can toggle teamplay in-game but it's super buggy and we aren't looking to have it tested just yet.

For teamplay, I'd prefer King of the Hill, at least until we can figure out a good way to reward the whole team for something that's basically done by one person (such as delivering the briefcase). Of course, KotH requires a lot of thought on the mapping side.

For reward, i would say that at the beginnng everybody starts with pistol. And every capture or other team accomplisment unlocks new weapons.

That's inviting the comparison with CS:S Gun Game but I like the way you're thinking. As the members of the team accomplish stuff the team should share in the benefits.
