Tone down powerup overlays

Postby Trop » Mon Oct 13, 2014 2:28 pm

I'm not sure if it's just me but any time I get a powerup I'm practically blinded by the screen overlay. It's like HDR mode on steroids or overly dark to the point of being a massive disadvantage.

It looks good but needs to be reduced in opacity. Maybe a convar or setting in options for overlay intensity?

Mine seems fine, but I have my monitor calibrated just perfectly.
Have heard this complaint more often though.

We're definitely trying to fix the overlays. I'm not sure if it's slated for pre or post steam though. Jorge?

Alright, thanks, glad to know it wasn't just me.

Great work so far guys, congrats on the Steam release. I am enjoying this mod more than I did TS.

Jorge here, we did some tweaking of the overlays which is in the Steam build. We're discussing that right now in the beta thread, that'd be a good place to give your feedback on it.
