Some good ideas on the forums this morning gave me a little brainstorm. People are asking for team mode and while it's not our priority right now it may be in the future if it's a commonly requested thing. So here are my ideas for what we can do to team mode to make it more attractive and fun for everyone. I'm thinking along the lines of things you can do with your team mates that would illicit a high five. Things that support the whole team as opposed to one player or yourself.
Team Style bonuses. As part of team mode you could have a team style bar that you all fill up concurrently and on activation would give super powers to the entire team. These could be related to the existing classes, or other ridiculous super powers, like slowmo that stops all bullets and enemy players in the server, team-wide superbrawl that would give comically high punch speed and mini-explosions on impact (why the hell not? BOOMBOOMBOOM!), a bottomless clip and extreme fire rate for x seconds, dual wield of whatever weapon you have equipped (dual shottys? Hell yeah!) or some other massive bonus that means the other team is just going to get completely wiped. The idea of the style bonus is that when it's on you're so OP no one has a chance, but it only lasts until the entire other team is dead - or a set time that we could easily adjust for balance. The team bar would also take a while to fill up so it would only happen maybe once or twice in a match.
Divepunching a team mate while they divepunch you in pertect timing could give a "HI-FIVE!" alert instead of "DIVEPUNCH!!". This would only work in team mode.
Epifires idea about getting buffs for slowmo activation could work for your team and not the enemy, or maybe just give the enemy slightly less buffs.
