Old map from awhile ago, decided to have another go at it and set it up with a decent theme.

Still working on lighting, may change the dark floor to a lighter one.

It will feature several buildings around the whole lot to dive out of over a street into the garage, the actual street will probably having moving cars that run over those who fail to make it over, not sure yet.

I'd like to see it come out looking like this a bit:

I really really like it.

But it does make it sound like it's in ghetto. Da Garage.

:D I have a feeling it's gonna be the next big thing for DA, gonna actually try with this one.

The name is as WIP as the map is, it'll change to something way cooler, if you got any ideas let me know.

Sick, new map. If you want it to look like that reference you're going to need to do some cubemap fiddling. Remember that you can blur the reflection by making a noisy normal map, and then mask it out to get some pretty looking spots. I tried to do that with the two concrete textures in highwire and I think it came out ok. You also have the advantage of that ground texture being made out of slabs. If you look closely you can see the cracks between them. You should use that to hide cubemap transtitions and add detail to the brushwork on the ground.

Also I think big decals on the wall are going to be important. Those arrows in the reference for instance could be used to direct the player.
